Business Hosting
Putting your self ahead of the game used to be an expression used by hosting providers to get your business online. These days everyone is online, however not everyone has done it the most efficient and effective way.
Yeah you have a website and an email address putting your companies info out there but for a customer of these days thats not enough. Why should they have to make a call to you when they could just browse through your competitors products online and simply click a button to have them sent to their doorstep. Thats why talking with QcOCentral can help your business, even if you think your already out there. We can help you improve and expand your business online.
Here at QcOCentral we understand that business websites must never go down. If for some unforeseen reason they do, an immediate response is required. This is why we have adopted multiple methods to allow quick recovery!
Our first method and industry standard is redundancy. For each mission critical service we provide, there is a secondary server. We are running a hot - hot setup, this means that there is more then one server providing the service and your connection will automaticlly go to any of these servers. If a server is to fail, transperantly to you, your computer will connect to the active servers.
Another method that we have adopted is booting our servers from a predefined image. When a server has been built and is running, there is very little that will need to be done on this server other then the ocassional software update and the daily monitoring. If for some reason we have a hardware failure, a new server can be booted in the datacenter from our predefined image into whichever roll we choose - Be it email, web or even database. This allows for a much faster solution!
Backing up is the key to business survival! There are so many cases where if a business had of backed up their data, they would not have had to spend months or even years trying to rebuild their business. We would like to take this huge responsibility out of your hands and into ours when it comes to your website and your email. Our servers are scheduled to do backups every morning and keep a copy of that for two weeks. If you have a problem and need to restore a file you can do so by looking into the "snapshot" folder in your home directory or contact our support line to have them do this for you.
